No warranty, technical assistance, or post-release support is provided. ====================================================================================================================== Here it is, if anyone wants to try it and finds it useful: https://hb9oab.ddns.net/wsjtx Download: jt9-taskkill.exe or jt9-taskkill.zip (full portable version) This mini tool: -Detects active WSJT-X sessions (single or multi-session). -Fully automatic and portable app -Detect if multisession the - -rig-name=xxxx -If single session detect the path onl (If you’re running just one instance, the single KillTask works as well). -Checks all running jt9.exe processes. -Identifies orphaned JT9 instances blocking session/sessions startup. -Lets me terminate the problematic JT9 only. -Leaves all other sessions untouched. -Does nothing if no orphaned JT9 is found. ... Result: No more jt9 manual searching. No need to close all sessions. No need to rebuild all multi-session setups. In MULTISESSION simply kill the SINGLE problematic JT9.exe. You can choose exactly which JT9 instance to terminate and restart for that specific session. Needless to say, anyone running a single session can just use the classic one-line command /taskkill /F /IM jt9.exe/ (before or after your choice) but at least now, in multi-session setups, you don’t have to restart everything!
